We are based in George, which is a busy, thriving town near the coast, midway between Cape Town and Port Elizabeth, South Africa.We mostly operate in the region known as the Garden Route and Little Karoo. There are many well known attractions such as the towns of Knysna and Plettenberg Bay, Oudsthoorn and the Cango Caves, Meiringspoort and the spectacular Swartberg Pass,which are well worth visiting.

We are both energetic, fit, and enjoy sporting activities such as cycling, swimming, and generally most things outdoors

We pride ourselves on our ability to plan detailed, interesting itineraries, custom designed to suit the clients’ specific needs, interests, and budget. (often these routes include little known treasures slightly off the main track!). We personally accompany all our tours, and our attention to detail, and the care and service we provide to our clients, is of paramount importance to us.

Outeniqua Adventure Tours started out in 1996 doing ‘inn to inn’ cycle safaris, but has since expanded to accommodate a variety of holiday options.
